Our Story
As we enter 2023, our 4th year, we will be expanding our service to include First Responders, Police, Fire fighters and EMS in the Upstate area as they certainly do serve us.
As we finished up our 3rd year, we’re continuing to meet the needs of those that are currently serving us or have served us through their Military or First Responder service.
Static wheelchair cushion deliveries continue to be our main focus. Our delivery visits to assisted living homes, nursing homes private homes & Hospice care facilities to our Veterans & First Responders in wheelchairs are greatly appreciated as they enjoy the extra comfort from our cushions. They also enjoy the opportunity to share their military or First Responders experiences with us!
As we closed 2023 we learned of the suffering of the Ukraine people. We partnered with Elks Lodge 1206 & the Vets Helping Vets Anderson (VHVA) group to gather clothing & coats. These items were then turned over to a local Ukraine church who then sent them to the war-torn people.
We partnered once again with VHVA & Elks Lodge 1206 to gather warm winter clothing & coats for our homeless Veterans. The 3 car loads of items was a great help. Patriot Partners of the Upstate allocated $700 to be spent on military grade knitted hats, gloves, socks, and thermal underwear. These items were then delivered throughout the areas by Upstate Warriors in Anderson and Greenville.
As of October, 2022 we started up a weekly Coffee Klatch at the American Legion, Post 14 in Anderson. Special trained Disabled American Vets (DAV) personnel gather at the Post to assist other Veterans with their paperwork and/or questions once a week. While waiting for their turn with a counselor we serve free coffee & a breakfast treat.
We ended our year with a Christmas party with American Legion Post184 Honor Guard being our honored guest. It takes a special individual to be able to handle the military funeral service of another veteran as it’s an emotional challenge & not all can deal with it on such a regular basis. We really appreciate all they do!
We are here to assist anyone who is currently serving or is no longer in active service.
Our purpose is to not only make physical comfort available but to also be a resource of guidance in situations where some of our networking partners can be recommended to address your specific needs.

MISSION STATEMENT
We are a non-profit organization of patriotic individuals who have a deep appreciation, pride and love for our Country and for those that have served or are currently serving in the US military or as First Responders. We have a desire to serve those that have served us by honoring and reaching out to Veterans, Police, Fire Fighters and EMS personnel and their families that are in need. We understand and embrace the quality of life that most of us enjoy, but our Military and First Responders have earned. We provide static wheelchair cushions with washable covers to those who have a need in assisted living centers, nursing homes, private homes as well as hospice care. We also promote patriotism by providing educational materials and by advocating for and standing by those who serve and protect us. We welcome the opportunity to involve others, i.e. schools, churches, DAV, American Legion, VFW, etc. with similar concerns to work hand-in-hand with us or to join in their efforts in expressing our appreciation and love for these heroes.
